The Event

Experience The Big Crush season.

Each year, we celebrate the grape harvest by inviting our friends to join our member wineries to get in on the most exciting time of year. Visit our participating wineries where you will be welcomed to the scenic foothills of Amador Wine Country by the entire wine community.

BIG CRUSH is a grand time to see harvest in action, and this year will be no exception!

Your ticket includes experiences at 6 wineries per day. Enjoy a special wine flight alongside either a small bite, live music, or a fun harvest activity all presented by warm and friendly family wineries. Plus, a commemorative wine glass to take home!  Enjoy scenes teeming with vineyards, trudging tractors, and bustling crush pads accompanied by incomparable Amador wine region hospitality!

How it Works

1. Purchase Your Tickets!
Purchase your tickets online before the event and choose a starting winery. There will be limited day-of tickets sales available at select wineries.

2. Make Your Reservations

Select wineries are highly recommending reservations. Click here for a list of wineries that recommend reservations, and instructions on how to make a reservation for the event.

3. Will Call
You will pick up your wine glass, wristband, program and additional materials at the winery you chose as your starting location during the ticket buying process.

4. Choose Your Winery Adventure
Each participating member winery will have a special flight of wines for you to try along with either a small bite, live music, or a fun harvest activity. Winery experiences are unique so read through the amazing experiences listed in the event program to decide which wineries you want to visit. You can visit up to 6 wineries per day.

Inside each program is a stamp page with 6 spots per day. You will receive a stamp at each winery you visit throughout the day. Once your card is full you can no longer visit any other wineries for the remainder of the day.

5. Amador Wine Country Map
We have several unique areas to explore in Amador Wine Country: Fiddletown, Shenandoah, Amador City, Drytown, West End and Sutter Creek. Check out the map in your event program to select wineries that are near each other.

6. Sip Safely
Our first priority is the safety of our guests and staff. Strict COVID safety protocols will be adhered to at all Amador Vintners member wineries, including masks (if required by local mandates) and capacity restrictions to ensure adequate physical distancing. The event will happen rain or shine! Wineries are encouraged to utilize outdoor patios and seating so please dress accordingly.
